Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026 · Effective: 1 September 2026
The short version. Logo Rush has no sign-up screen, no advertising and no analytics SDK. On first launch the app opens an anonymous session so your scores can be attributed to someone, you pick a nickname, and we store the scores you make. That is the whole data set. We never ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number or location, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.
Ce document est fourni en anglais, langue de référence pour les plateformes de distribution. Pour toute question en français, écrivez-nous à contact@agence-weblia.com.
This policy explains what personal data the Logo Rush mobile application and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the app on iOS and Android and to this website.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Weblia ("we", "us"), the publisher of Logo Rush. You can reach us at any time at contact@agence-weblia.com. Postal contact details are available on request and are provided in full to the app stores.
2. What we collect
Logo Rush works without an account. There is no registration form, and we never ask for your name, e-mail address, postal address, phone number, date of birth or payment details.
| Data | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous player ID A random identifier created by Firebase Authentication the first time you open the app. |
To attach your scores, your daily attempt and your seat in a multiplayer room to "you" without knowing who you are. | On your device and on Google Firebase servers. |
| Nickname Two to fourteen characters, chosen by you. Defaults to a generic name if you never change it. |
To show a readable name next to your score in rooms and leaderboards. | On your device, and mirrored to Firebase so the server can name you without trusting a name sent in a request. |
| Game data Scores, number of correct answers, per-round timings, the pack and difficulty played, daily-challenge attempts, and the code and membership of any multiplayer room you create or join. |
To run a game, compute scores server-side, and build the daily and all-time leaderboards. | Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Firestore). |
| Local preferences Sound, haptics, your best solo score, the date of your last daily challenge. |
To remember how you like to play. | Your device only. Never sent to us. |
| Technical data IP address, coarse device and operating-system information, connection timestamps and error logs, processed automatically by our hosting provider. |
To deliver the service, keep it secure, prevent abuse and fix crashes. | Google Firebase infrastructure logs. |
The app requests no sensitive device permissions. It does not access your contacts, calendar, photos, files, camera, microphone or location, and it does not read your advertising identifier.
3. What we deliberately do not do
- No advertising. The app contains no ad network and shows no ads.
- No analytics or attribution SDK. We do not measure your behaviour in the app, and no third-party measurement library is embedded.
- No tracking across apps or websites. Nothing in Logo Rush follows you elsewhere, so we do not request permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
- No profiling and no automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
- No sale, rental or sharing of personal data. Ever, to anyone, for any price.
4. What other players can see
Multiplayer and leaderboards are, by nature, public inside the game. When you join a room or post a score, other players see your nickname, your score and your progress in the current game. Daily and all-time leaderboards are readable by anyone using the app.
Because a nickname is displayed to strangers, please do not use your full name, your e-mail address or any other personal information as a nickname. You can change it at any time in the app's settings; past leaderboard entries keep the nickname that was in use when the score was recorded.
5. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Running the game, saving your scores, matching players in rooms, publishing leaderboards | Performance of the contract you enter into by using the app (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Keeping the service available and secure, preventing cheating, spam and abuse, debugging | Our legitimate interest in a working, fair game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
| Answering your messages and handling your privacy requests | Legitimate interest and compliance with our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(c) GDPR) |
6. Who processes data for us
We keep the list short on purpose. Our only infrastructure provider is Google, through the Firebase platform: Firebase Authentication (anonymous sessions), Cloud Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database (game data and leaderboards), Cloud Functions (server-side scoring) and Firebase Hosting (this website). Google acts as our processor under the Firebase data processing terms; its own practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Our real-time database and our server functions run in the European Union (Google Cloud region europe-west1, Belgium). Some administrative or log data may nevertheless be processed by Google outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and by Google's participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
7. How long we keep it
- Multiplayer rooms — automatically deleted, with their card decks, roughly two hours after the last activity in the room. A scheduled job sweeps them every thirty minutes.
- Daily challenge scores — kept for the daily leaderboard and for historical rankings.
- All-time leaderboard entry — kept as long as you keep playing, and until you ask us to delete it.
- Nickname — kept until you change it or ask us to delete your data.
- Anonymous player ID — kept until you ask us to delete your data, or until you delete the app and its data from your device.
- Local preferences — removed when you uninstall the app.
- Technical logs — retained by Google for the periods described in the Firebase documentation, typically a few weeks to a few months.
8. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France, that authority is the CNIL.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@agence-weblia.com. We answer within one month. Because your session is anonymous, we may need you to send your request from the device you play on and to tell us your nickname and roughly when you last played, so that we can identify the right records without asking you for identity documents. If we genuinely cannot link a request to a player, we will say so rather than delete someone else's data.
Step-by-step instructions are on the delete my data page.
9. Children
Logo Rush is a general-audience trivia game. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. The app contains no ads, no in-app purchases and no open chat: the only free text a player can enter is a nickname and their answer to a logo.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data through a nickname, contact us at contact@agence-weblia.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Information for United States residents
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not knowingly collect the personal information of consumers under 16. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other state residents may exercise the access and deletion rights described in section 8 by writing to the same address; we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.
11. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit with TLS. Scores are computed by server-side functions from the timings your device reports, so a modified client cannot simply declare itself the winner. Database security rules make leaderboards readable but not writable by clients, and keep the daily deck out of reach until your attempt has actually started. No system is perfect; if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify the competent authority and, where required, you.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and any material change will be announced in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
